Auto-enrolment Re-enrolment & Re-declaration
Every three years we re-assess your staff, re-enrol those who qualify and file your re-declaration of compliance with The Pensions Regulator.
Stay compliant with your workplace pension duties
Workplace pension duties do not end once your scheme is set up. Every three years, employers must re-assess staff who have opted out or left the scheme, re-enrol those who qualify and complete a re-declaration of compliance with The Pensions Regulator.
Missing the re-declaration can lead to action from the regulator. We manage the process with you and keep track of your deadlines.
What re-enrolment involves
At each re-enrolment date, employers typically need to:
- Re-assess staff who have opted out or left the scheme at your chosen re-enrolment date, within three months either side of the third anniversary of your duties start date
- Re-enrol eligible staff into the pension scheme
- Write to staff about re-enrolment
- Complete the re-declaration of compliance with The Pensions Regulator within 5 months of the third anniversary of your duties start date
We will confirm your re-declaration deadline and the steps that apply to your business.
